
Danielle Felder
Danielle Felder is a policy, advocacy, and nonprofit leader with deep experience advancing educational opportunity, community impact, and systems change across Colorado. She currently serves as Policy Advisor to the Sims Fayola Policy & Advocacy Institute, where she leads policy strategy, partnership development, and civic engagement efforts focused on improving outcomes for boys and young men of color, with particular attention to early childhood readiness, literacy,
out-of-school time, workforce pathways, and community conditions that support safety and stability.
Previously, Danielle served as the Chief External Affairs Officer at DSST Public Schools, where she led marketing, advocacy, family and community engagement, and student recruitment for a 16-school network serving more than 7,000 students. She has also served as the Executive Director of the Colorado Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs and as the Chief Development Officer at the Emily Griffith Foundation, where she helped expand access to educational and workforce opportunities.
Earlier in her career, Danielle practiced employment, finance, and business law at national firm
in Denver. She holds a J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School and a B.S. in
International Business and Finance from the University of Denver. She has served on several Colorado nonprofit and civic boards and is deeply committed to advancing equity and opportunity for children and families in her community.
