ColoREADo’s mission is to eliminate illiteracy and sub-literacy for Colorado’s students through exceptional alliances and state of the art instruction.
The gift of literacy is the great equalizer of our time, without it our neighbors face economic, social and political isolation, resulting in a high correlation to incarceration and dependence on public assistance. Like states across the country, Colorado suffers from chronic sub-literacy as a result of educational resource decisions, ineffective techniques and improperly trained educators.
